Trimester 2 Hōʻike was a huge success for Papa ʻEhiku (gr. 7).  Haumāna spent time sharing the moʻolelo (story) of their experience with kālai papa and pōhaku (carving of board and stone) and teaching their ʻohana how to clean and kuʻi kalo (pound taro) to make paʻi ʻai (a package of food).  Our papa and pōhaku were blessed and were used for the first time to feed our ʻohana.  Mahalo to Kumu Kaʻanohi, ʻAnakala Bo, and ʻAnakala Jace who supported us in our learning.  Mahalo to all of our ʻohana who have supported them along the way, especially participating in harvesting hau, searching for pōhaku and celebrating them at their hōʻike (exhibition)!  Mahalo to all ʻohana and kumu who joined us in showcasing our learning.
